Bad Weather Policy
We will be using the Anne Arundel County Public School’s School Closing Policy as a guideline for our bad weather cancellations or closings. If schools are two hours late or closed, we will cancel all activities for the day. If schools are opening one hour late, we will still have any scheduled activities. Please use your best judgement when deciding if it’s safe to attend an activity. If schools are closed for any reason other than weather, please check with the chairmom in charge of the activity or a board member if you have a question about cancellation.
Please do not attend activites if your child has had any of the following symptoms in the past 24 hours: fever over 100, diarrhea, vomiting, cough, sneezing, runny nose, sore throat, unexplained rash, ring worm, lice, or pink eye. If any of the above symptoms have been caused by allergies or teething, you are welcome to attend.
Payments for field trips, dues and other fees can be made in person to any board member. You may also mail a check directly to the MOMS Club Treasurer, June R. If sending a check, please note what the check is for: name of field trip, dues, etc. If you have questions, please contact June R.
Field Trip Prepayment Policy
We require members to pay in advance for some field trips. This only applies to field trips that we pay for as a group. If the trip requires prepayment or a deposit, we will need your money the week before the trip. This gives us enough time to cancel if we don’t have enough attendees.
If a trip requires a nonrefundable deposit, the deposit will not be made until we have collected all the money. In some cases this may occur several weeks prior to the scheduled trip.
The club realizes that emergencies occur and you may not be able to attend even if you have already paid. We will refund your money if we are able to obtain a refund from the trip. Otherwise, you may try to find someone to go in your place and make arrangements for them to pay you.
